Volunteers needed for a new tree nursery in Barnfield Park
As part of Cities of Trees, a new tree nursery is hoping to be established in Barnfield Park, on the corner of Bury New Road and Hilton Lane, and the organisation is looking for volunteers to join the project.
“No prior experience needed – just a passion for the outdoors and a willingness to get in” states the organisers.
The tree sessions take place every Tuesday, between 10 and 3pm at Barnfield Park.
