Salford City FC Saves the Soul of Football from the Monsters of Greed

Back in 2010, before the Class of ’92 arrived at Moor Lane, Salford City FC was the only sanctuary for football’s Soul, as the big club monsters of greed were out to destroy her…

Ammies’ manager, Rhodri Giggs, as Sir Rhodri of Giggs, and Chairman, Darren Quick, as Lord Darren of Quick, plus fans and families, joined in to save the soul of football in a silent, black and white, three minute film, made by the BBC Outreach dept and premiered at that year’s Salford Film Festival.

Unfortunately, the film is no longer available online but we have the next best thing – the boards which strung the incredible happenings together…

So, ladies and gentlemen, sit back, hold your irony, turn onto terror and enjoy Miracle At Moor Lane…

We’re sure you will agree that it’s a long lost classic!
